Pyrotechnics and wild lighting effects are passe when it comes to today’s pop music concerts. Wind machines are all the rage and performers are trying to outdo each other in impressive displays of “windynamics”, as it is called in the trade. Unfortunately as everyone ramps up the blow power, accidents  are occurring more and more frequently. First Beyonce got her weave caught in a fan and had to have her extensions scissored off in order to be released. Now Demi Lovato had to cut a show short last evening, due to an out of control wind machine, called the “Turbo”. In this last photo taken just before she was literally blown off the stage she appeared to be screaming “turn that mother up!” The technician complied and Demi was blown through the back of the stage. EMS crews assisted her as she lay atop the demolished food table with trays of Lasagna, salad, and large cookies strewn everywhere. She was heard to murmur, “OMG That was Awesome!” With plenty of rest, she is expected to make a full recovery.
