As Taylor sings, “Players gonna play play play,” so now she is going to play the field on TV! In a casting coup that is sure to be a teen and tween ratings grabber ABC announced today that Taylor swift has signed on for the next installment of it’s hit romantic reality show The Bachelorette! “My Gosh,” Taylor gushed, “I have watched this show from the gitgo and I can’t wait to be smack dab in the center of it! Golly gee it looks like a lot of fun and quite frankly I am tired of having to go out and search for boys, so when ABC offered to bring them all to me, I jumped at the opportunity.” The contestants have been winnowed down from 1427 members of boy bands from around the world and although it was hoped the show would begin this Fall, three of Taylor’s final choices were not yet 18 so it had to be pushed back to start in January. It is assumed there will be plenty of good clean fun, hayrides, high school football games and carnival rides and of course a lot of kissing! Count on plenty of teen angst for the love songs on her next album. Starts January 10th on ABC.
