With polls showing that the GOP has a good chance of taking control of the Senate after tomorrow’s election results, there is even more good news for them to celebrate. A Perlmutter-Pew Poll taken over the weekend has shown that even if they nominate imprisoned, mass murder ringleader, Charles Manson as their candidate against Democrat front-runner Hillary Clinton, they still have a good shot at winning the White House. One Republican honcho said, “We were not sure we could count on our base support, but it does appear from this poll that they will stick with us no matter who we nominate. And it’s not just anti-Hillary sentiment. That my friend is brand loyalty!” With Manson getting 48% of the vote, Clinton 47% and undecided at 3% (2% plan to abstain) they figure they are a shoo-in if the nominee is someone who is not actually a murderer and behind bars already.
