Cinema buffs raced to the theaters all across the United States this weekend to see the latest installment of the ever stimulating and intriguing film franchise, “The Fast And The Furious 7”. Raking in over $384 million globally, the film has stunned critics who didn’t believe that a thoughtful film could be so profitable. One movie executive crowed “ This proves the naysayers so wrong. A movie can still be a monetary success and yet intellectually mind boggling!”
“I just couldn’t believe how fast it was!” said one awestruck moviegoer on leaving the theater, after seeing the film for the third time this weekend. After Fast and Furious 6, I would never have believed it could get any faster, but damn this f*cker was FAST! I had to go back 2 more times to see how they did it and I still can’t figure it out. The speeds are just incredible! I mean, they show you the speedometers, but even they don’t seem to honestly reflect just how fast they actually are going. You begin to wonder OMG how are they even staying on the screen? How do you contain a car going that fast? I dunno but I gotta go home and take a nap. I am exhausted just thinking about it.”
Another “eye-glazed” satisfied moviegoer was similarly struck by the level of fury the film demonstrated. “I have never encountered people this furious before! I was actually shaking in my seat! How can human beings even get that mad? I would never believe a person was capable of so much hostility and, and, and …. well……fury I guess. That IS the only way to describe it. Just freakin’ “balls to the wall’ flat out FURIOUS. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I personally have been really pissed off at times in my life, but this is a level so beyond my comprehension! I plan on returning to watch this as often as necessary to figure out just how they did it. Just awesome man!”
As one critic succinctly put it, “A movie like this only comes around 6……maybe 7 times in ones life!”
