“Will you fucking shut up???” Screamed Lady Gaga at a Fashion Week party at The Plaza Hotel, “Goddamn Rich People!” Guests including Donatella Versace, Liberty Ross and Brooke Shields kept talking as she attempted to perform selections from her forthcoming jazz album, a collaborative effort with Tony Bennett. When everyone ignored her she proceeded to throw canapés and bar nuts at the attendees in an attempt to get them to STFU to no avail. She then launched a fusillade of water balloons, rotten avocados, beaver pelts, and clumps of shepherd’s pie at the audience, while tables were overturned in desperate attempts to seek cover. A final deluge of pigs’ blood rained down from the ceiling and at last the place quieted down to her satisfaction. She performed beautifully to an attentive and appreciative audience. As the performance was recorded, a live album is to be released in tandem with her jazz effort, September 23rd.
