Pope Attempts To Make Peace Between North Korea And Sony Pictures

Fresh off the success of helping to broker a new, more open relationship between the United States and Cuba, Pope Francis has now set his sights on the dispute over Sony Pictures new movie “The Interview” starring James Franco and Seth Rogen. The movie has been pulled from theaters in light of threats that appear to be emanating from sources in North Korea, who are unhappy with the film’s depiction of it’s leader Lil Kim, and his ultimate assassination. A big fan of “The Pineapple Express,” The Pope had been planning a holiday screening for the College of Cardinals and was terribly disappointed to hear of the film’s cancellation after running into James and Seth backstage at The Jimmy Kimmel Show. He immediately offered to act as intermediary. Stopping momentarily at the airport, to speak to the press, the Pope explained, “This man has got to lighten up a little” he said, “I am confident when Kim meets these two crazy guys, gets a little high and watches the film, he will see his death is really just played for laughs, and will not take it so personally. If not, well then maybe we’ll see you in 10 or 20 years.”
