Sarah Palin Launches Her “Let’s All Write To Foreign Leaders” Campaign!
Emboldened by the recent letter sent to Iran from 47 Senators, Sarah Palin has again lead from her behind and announced her new initiative, encouraging everybody to send warning letters to heads of state all around the world. “This Obama Wally Wimpy diplomacy is for the birds” she said, with what was either a drawl or a sarcastic tone. “This is America and we gotta let these bozos know that America is the freedom light of the world and if they try to take away our freedom to tell them what to do in their country, then by gosh they are gonna regret it! We will fight for our freedom, no matter what country we have to do it in.”
Palin encourages all true Americans, whether elected official or simply Joe the Plumber, to get out there and mix it up with any country, they feel needs a dose of good old red white and blue freedom lessons.
Setting the example Sarah immediately dashed off a somewhat cordial, yet threatening note to Mr. Putin letting him know that she is continuing to keep her eyes on him and Russia and will not be distracted during the planning of her daughter Bristol’s wedding. The missive will be sent as soon as her assistant spell checks it.
Thanks To Fox News, Robert Durst Jumps To First. New GOP Darling Tops Polls!
Fox News has now proclaimed that accused murderer Robert Furst is the man to beat when it comes to the race for the Republican nomination for President in 2016. “This is our guy!” Roger Ailes said breathlessly at the daily “news anchor” meeting in the bowels of Fox News Studios. “He’s got the killer instinct we’ve been looking for in a candidate. None of that whiny ‘Oh it doesn’t feel right’ of that Romney wimp! I want everybody to get behind this guy pronto. O’Reilly! As soon as we post bail he’ll be on your show. Megan! You got him second. We want to work a bit on his back story before we roll him out in morning on Fox and Friends. Steve and the other guy, you’ll sit between him and Elisabeth. And Hasslebeck! Wear something really fetching that day! Oh and get that look off your pansy-ass faces. We will have security check him for weapons. Sheesh! Okay that’s it for now. I wanna see you all get out there and sell this murderer…..um…I mean Republican to America!”
Wal-Mart Greeter, Merle Endinturfton, Inks 17.5 Million Deal For Three More Years!!
Relief reigned in the head offices at Wal-Mart in Bentonville, Arkansas today when management finally nailed down a contract with it’s most popular greeter, Merle Endinturfton. “We were nervous for awhile,” admitted Human Resources manager Cliff Benekey, ”We knew Target was after him, but we were negotiating in good faith, and we knew Merle was doing the same. When you have an employee as good at his job and as popular as he is, you don’t play games when it comes to holding on to them.” In addition to the salary, vacation days, sick days, free cable and on site buffet lunches were riders attached to his new deal.
Customers reacted with unbridled joy, on hearing that their favorite greeter would be staying around for a guaranteed 3 more years. “Merle makes you want to shop at WalMart,” said Doris Kurdelinger as she tossed a family pack of Slim Jims into her already overflowing cart. “His smile is like the sun, and his cheeks, like two big ripe tomatoes! He makes my day every time I shop here!” Another Walmartian, obviously elated to hear the good news, fairly glowed with excitement. “He is worth every penny of that $17.5 million! Just this morning he pointed me directly to the hardware department when I arrived. I had no idea where it was and he nailed it. He is that good, and if they gotta raise the prices a bit to pay for that contract, I will understand. Wal-Mart needs Merle!”
Benekey agreed with that sentiment and believes most customers will understand the need for price increases. “That money’s gotta come from somewhere! It’s not like the Waltons are going to take less profits,” he chuckled. “You know, we got lucky with Merle. I just hope we can reach a successful deal with our top cashier Deedee Mosier. She is one tough negotiator and we can’t afford to lose her. She has too many fans. Wish me luck!”
